Booth is close....

Visit Malaysia Year 2007 -- yeah, yeah everyone knows that.

I passed by this Pasar Seni (Central Market) Tourism Info booth at 10.30 am, and it is still pretty shut. Hey, aint somebody suppose to rise & shine yet ??




Finally opened when i passed by the place again an hour later.

Dilarang Melarang

It is titled "Dilarang Melarang". In English, it probably can be roughly translated to "Forbidden to Forbid"..... anyone can translate better ?

Somebody must be very pissed and have a lot of pent-up emotion. This pic is a display of teenagers sick of parents/adults telling you telling 'you can't do this', 'you should not do that', 'you are forbidden to do this.....

For me, adulthood is at any time better than the teenage years. Freedom !!

Can you spot Mr Toad ?

I was weeding my garden, and hardly notice this little toad perfectly camouflage with the small stone until i was very near to it. Upon spotting Mr Toad, I yelp and backed away instinctively - I have never been a fan of frogs or toads. Mr Toad was pretty cool about it, he didnt leap away - he just stay put on this nice little spot for quite a while for the rest of the afternoon.

Seasons in the padi fields

Nice pic i took at Kuala Perlis, my father's hometown in the state of Perlis. It was very dry then and the padi fields were cracking under the heat



This is how padi fields looks like in the dry season - everything looks brown. It looks nice in the pictures coz you dont feel the heat suffocating you. So hot until I cannot breath.



I like the padi fields in the wet season better - the green is so soothing....
